Information : Based from the shonen with the same name published in the Weekly Shonen Sunday in 1987. Written by Gosho Aoyama.

Summary : Kaito is a 14 years old student and migician, like his dead father.. One day he found out that his father was kaito kid the really famous robber. Kaito is going to take the role.

What I think : This anime is good, I like it. It's more like a family anime, I mean it's all age, so don't except awesome battle with a lot of effect and blood.
But for me it's a positive point because it's really relaxing.. I mean you watch it during your free time just to watch something good to chill out, with some humor, some emotional moment, some intrigue with a old school touch.
One more thing at the beginning and the ending of the episode you have a little introduction like it was a magic show(1) and it's really pleasant, I don't know why because it's useless but I like it..
The weakness of this anime is that it’s repetitive, one episode equal one thief.. Even if in the last episode they try to do differently..
More I have the feeling that sometime they try to introduce some stuff but it’s not really developed so I don’t know how many episode is going to come out and if they are going to develop these stuff..
But the worst is there are some obvious thing that nobody understand like for exemple Kaito is Kaito Kid and nobody succeed to find him but I mean he have the same name, their are magician and worst he don’t wear a mask so everybody can see his face but nobody make the link..(2) (Just one time in one episode..)
And for the last word I don’t understand why every character have the same nose that cyrano de bergerac.(3)

Conclusion : positive : relaxing ; old school

negative : repetitive ; stupid detective
